A revamped affordable housing complex is in the works thanks to Lewis Holdings Development! The Detroit-based real estate company is renovating a 10-unit apartment complex at 1403 Junction Ave. The building, previously naturally occurring affordable housing, is getting much-needed upgrades for safety and maintenance. Owner Bobby D. Lewis is committed to keeping it affordable, with nine units rented below 50% of the area median income and one two-bedroom unit below 120% of AMI.
To make this possible, Lewis is partnering with Detroit Housing for the Future Fund, created by LISC, the City of Detroit, and MSHDA to support affordable housing in the city.

Great to see affordable housing projects getting the support they need this kind of work makes a real difference in communities!
