Verizon has just announced a new learning platform for small businesses—Verizon Small Business Digital Ready—in partnership with LISC. The menu of free digital resources to help entrepreneurs plan, manage and grow their businesses is the latest collaboration between LISC and Verizon to support community-rooted enterprises reeling from the pandemic’s economic fallout.
Since April 2020, LISC has distributed $17.5 million in grants from Verizon to nearly 1,700 small businesses, most of them women- and BIPOC-owned.

https://casinoenligneenfrance.net caught my attention recently while thinking about how small businesses find trustworthy digital guidance, and this partnership between Verizon and LISC seems to address that gap in a meaningful way. The fact that $17.5 million in grants has already reached nearly 1,700 businesses, most of them women- and BIPOC-owned, suggests the platform isn't just talk but builds on real groundwork. I'd be curious whether the learning modules cover things like payment processing and online security, since those tend to trip up newer entrepreneurs more than basic marketing does.
